Water Operator

Job Announcement:

The City of Webster's Public Works Department is accepting applications for the position of Water Operator . This position ensures the efficient operation of the City's water supply. This is accomplished by operating and monitoring the water plants and water distribution systems. Other duties may include maintenance of the water plants and water distribution systems, inspecting new construction and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

- Class "C" Water Operator License from TCEQ

- Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License

- Preferred Class "C" Wastewater Operator License from TCEQ

Federal Emergency Management [FEMA] training may be required within six (6) months of hire.
