Role Overview

The KYC Analyst will sit within the Compliance function, supporting the Compliance Officer and Deputy Compliance Officer on day-to-day KYC/KYB operations. You'll be the first line of review for onboarding and ongoing due diligence, flagging higher-risk cases for escalation and helping maintain a clean, well-documented CDD/EDD process. Key Focus Areas and Key Responsibilities

- Conduct KYC/CDD reviews on new and existing customers, including identity verification, document checks, and customer risk-rating in line with the risk framework

- Assist in KYB and UBO verification for corporate/partner onboarding if required

- Disposition PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening alerts; document rationale for true/false-positive decisions and escalate confirmed or ambiguous hits to the AML Manager

- Conduct first-line transaction monitoring alert reviews and basic source-of-funds checks; flag activity that may warrant EDD or a SAR/STR recommendation.

- Monitor transaction alerts and support investigations into unusual activity

- Maintain accurate, audit-ready case files and escalate potential SAR/STR triggers to the Deputy Compliance Officer

- Support periodic reviews, remediation exercises, and licensing-related data requests (MiCA/EMI)

- Help maintain and improve internal KYC procedures, checklists, and training materials

- Handle KYC-related customer queries and RFIs (requests for information) professionally and within SLA
