Summary/Objective: A Small Format Fabrication position is responsible for wrapping parts, counting parts, operating manual equipment, running the pouch laminator, and other tasks as assigned in the small format department.

Essential Functions:

- Counting and shrink wrapping parts

- Die cutting

- Assembly

- Read and understand manufacturing orders and the dispatch list.

- Know machine settings to maintain a quality product

- Fill out and understand the Scrap and internal usage form

- Assists with other fabrication steps when required

- Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working order and are free of safety hazards.

- Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed.

- Communicates safety and maintenance issues to supervisor

- Must wear the required safety equipment

- Stand for long periods of time

- Meet or exceed production goals

Knowledge and expertise in:

- Knowledge of small format fabrication steps

Required Skills

- Good written and verbal communication

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to read, comprehend, and recommunicate

- Ability to accurately operate a calculator.

- Must be able to use a computer

- Good time management

- Ability to follow, understand and execute direction as given to you by your Manager.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and part of a team.

- Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. assisted.

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent
