About this role
- Deliver exceptional service, ensuring timely and high-quality onsite repair services for all assigned work orders.
- Inspect equipment as a whole to obtain accurate diagnosis and effective solution to the problem.
- Appropriate handling of all tools and equipment to ensure safety.
- Assist other technicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation of performed work and progress.
- Preserve a safe, clean, and organized workspace environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on client and rental fleet equipment.
- Provide friendly, professional, and informative interaction with clients, and address concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards.
- All other duties and tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Mechanical skills encompassing small engine, diesel and hydraulic systems diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively.
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and sitting.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in person and via documentation.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively.
**Mechanic certification not required, but a minimum of 2 years' experience preferred**
