Job Description:

The Role :   Manufacturing Engineer   II

A Manufacturing Engineer   facilitates   efficient operations within the production area,   optimize   existing processes,   implement   new   processes   and   ensures   that production goals are met. Monitoring performance of equipment, machines and tools and   corrects   equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues, all within a highly regulated and complex manufacturing environment.  
Analyses and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and initiates technical activities leading to new or improved products or   process   to meet strategic goals and   objectives   of the company. Applies project management methodologies and Kaizen improvement philosophy to manage production/product design and process and   systems improvement   respectively.

What   You’ll   Do:

- Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors;   soliciting   observations from operators.

- Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing,   modifying , and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

- Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

- Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities;   establishing   standards; confirming manufacturing processes.

- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.

- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

- Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of the assigned manufacturing process FMEA, Control Plans

What We Seek:

- Bachelor's Degree   in   Electronic & Electrical ,   Mechanical Engineering along with   directly related   experience   or any other related field.

- At least   3 years of manufacturing experience

- Perform Specification review functions and implementation associated with inquiries and project work under guidance and direction of the lead engineer and/or manager

- Experience with Solid works , PLC   programming   or any   other related program

- P roven experience in electrical and electronic system design and development

- S trong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and techniques

- Knowledge of machine processes

- E xperience in high volume manufacturing desirable

- Knowledge in semiconductor hardware and systems desirable

- Ability to coordinate projects including project analyses and reporting

- Ability to report information professionally, effectively, in a structured and concise format

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent overall computer and software skills/knowledge

- Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Quick learner, open and able to adapt   to   new tasks and processes

- Experience / Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma philosophies a plus

- Experienced in performing design FMEA and process FMEA a plus

- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
