Position Summary
As the RN Shift Manager , you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, and operational coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional resident care. You will serve as a resource for nursing staff while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.

- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations during the assigned shift.
- Assess staffing levels and resident care needs to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Coordinate daily nursing activities and communicate priorities across the interdisciplinary care team.
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Promote compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to nursing staff throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and coordinate nursing operations.
- Experience motivating teams and working collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
