Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by the French couple Delphine Lefay and Diego Dultzin,  OnTheList  is a leading premium flash sales concept in Asia and the  Middle-East .  OnTheList  works to minimize the problem of excess stock by turning past-season inventory into sustainable opportunities. Working directly with retail brands and official distributors,  OnTheList   provides  a sustainable way for brands to sell past-season items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while providing the best deals and steep discounts to 1.5 million  OnTheList  members.

Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016,  OnTheList  has hosted over  6.0 00 flash sales across all regions, now  operating  in Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Dubai,   Saudi  Arabia   and soon Taiwan .

Sustainability is rooted in who we are and motivates us to continue our mission. To date, we have saved almost 10 million items from ending up in landfills. Forming  OnTheLove , our CSR  initiatives , has allowed us to deepen our commitment to minimizing our carbon footprint while working with local organizations and hosting regular charity sales.

The Opportunity:  Financial Leadership for the Next Decade

As  OnTheList  enters its second decade,  this role   is a core strategic business driver  and a vital member of the Leadership Team .   Y ou will act as the financial architect of our global expansion, ensuring disciplined capital allocation, robust financial governance, and sustainable multi-market profitability. You will partner directly with the CEO, Co-Founder, and  market s  Managing Directors/General Managers to scale our commercial impact globally.

What We Will Trust You With

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Capital Allocation

- Own and execute the global financial strategy, driving corporate profitability, margin expansion, and long-term financial sustainability across all markets.

- Direct multi-market P&L management, yearly budgeting, forecasting, and monthly  sales  reviews across  markets .

- Architect and oversee capital allocation   and cash-flow structures to fuel regional scaling and strategic corporate initiatives.

2. Financial Governance, Treasury & Multi-Jurisdictional Compliance

- Establish and scale enterprise-grade financial controls, internal control policies, treasury management, tax compliance, and auditing frameworks across complex international  jurisdictions  (including Mainland China and the Middle   East).

- Oversee multi-entity audit coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration with external auditors and local teams to  maintain  rigorous regulatory compliance and governance standards.

3. FP&A, Data & Financial Systems Transformation

- Champion financial digitalization, partnering on core technological milestones (such as the  OnTheStack  data transformation project) to build predictive financial modeling and advanced FP&A dashboards.

- Direct advanced data analytics  support for  strategic initiatives, management reporting, and performance tracking (including revenue, margins, sell-through rates, and overstock metrics).

- Drive forward-thinking finance innovations, including AI-driven workflow automation within the finance function and reporting standardization across markets.

- Implement robust unit-economics tracking across both our online flash sales and offline retail store operations.

- Oversee sustainability accounting and ESG data tracking, including corporate carbon footprint and  emissions calculations aligned with  OnTheLove .

4. Commercial Partnership & Strategic Expansion

- Act as a key strategic sparring partner to market leaders, evaluating the financial viability of new market entries, pop-up concepts, and brand partnership models.

- Model out  scenarios for business growth, pricing strategies, and inventory valuation structures to maximize top-line revenue and bottom-line efficiency.

5. Board Governance & Investor Relations

- Prepare executive-level financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews.

- Serve as an authoritative financial voice, providing transparent insights and data-backed recommendations to guide high-stakes executive decisions.

What It Takes

- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5  years   operating  in a C-level or VP of Finance capacity within high-growth retail, luxury, e-commerce, or omnichannel environments.

- Previous  professional experience managing finance, tax, and currency complexities in Mainland China is essential and strictly  required  for this role.

- A track record  of scaling financial architecture, building FP&A and analytics teams from scratch, implementing robust ERP/financial systems, and navigating rapid growth in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrates strong business acumen and strategic rigor,  leveraging  deep data, financial modeling, and modern analytics tools (such as Power BI, Advanced Excel, and automated reporting) to drive commercial success.

- Has a global & local regulatory mindset with deep  expertise  in managing complex financial, tax, and currency frameworks across Mainland China and broader APAC  and  Middle East .

- Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication skills, and gravitas, with the ability to challenge executive peers constructively, guide local market leaders, and present with absolute clarity.
