Job Summary: The Member of Technical Staff, Silicon Photonics Integration is a senior individual-contributor role. The position is responsible for defining and driving end-to-end integration of silicon-photonics-based optical engines and modules, with an initial product focus on coherent transmission.
This technical authority translates system and product objectives into PIC/EIC, optical, electrical, package, thermal, mechanical, firmware/calibration, manufacturing, and test requirements; leads cross-functional studies and execution from concept through qualification and volume ramp; and represents integration decisions with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. The role leads matrixed workstreams and mentors engineers; direct people management is not the primary scope.
