Emploive in ChatGPT and Claude
Search new jobs and manage your job alerts from a chat in ChatGPT or Claude.
What the plugin does
The Emploive plugin connects ChatGPT and Claude to Emploive through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
In a chat, the assistant can search open jobs, show job details, and manage your trackers.
A tracker is a saved search. It sends you alerts when new jobs match it.
Each job result links to its job page on Emploive.
Connect in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open the app directory and search for Emploive.
- Open Emploive and add it to ChatGPT.
- To search before you sign in, select Use without an account.
- To manage trackers, sign in on the Emploive connect page and approve the connection.
ChatGPT asks you to sign in when a request needs your account.
Connect in Claude
- In Claude, open the connector directory and add Emploive.
- Sign in on the Emploive connect page and approve the connection.
To add Emploive as a custom connector, open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector. Enter this server URL:

An Emploive account is free. To connect your account, verify your email address first.

Plans
The plugin uses the same plans as emploive.com. Your plan controls what your trackers can do.
On the free plan, trackers send alerts on a slower schedule, and you get 50 alert emails each month.
With Pro, you can set any alert speed and use push alerts in the iPhone app. You can also filter by company industry, funding stage, and size. Pro also sends instant alerts inside ChatGPT.
To see your limits, ask the assistant about your Emploive plan.
Your data and disconnecting
Without an account, the assistant receives job listings and job details.
With a connected account, it also receives your trackers, their matches, your plan, and your alert email usage.
It does not receive your resume, your applications, or your saved application profile.
To disconnect, remove Emploive in the ChatGPT or Claude settings. Trackers that you made in a chat stay in your account until you delete them.

Limits and support
Emploive limits heavy use to prevent abuse. When you reach a limit, the assistant tells you. Wait, then try again.
