Job Description & Summary
As a Manager in PwC's U.S. Tax team, you will lead a team focused on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Focusing on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, you'll review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Preferred skills

- A Bachelors Degree with a specialisation in   business,   accounting/taxation or a   law   degree   from   an   accredited   univ ersit y;
- Successful   completion   of   the   U.S.   Certified Public   Accounting   designation,   admitted   t o   practice   law   in a   U.S.   jurisdiction, or holds an equivalent relevant US Tax certification.   Candidates who do not have the CPA or EA qualification but have the required relevant Tax experience ( US tax experience preferred) will be considered   ;
- A minimum of 5 years of   U.S.   taxation   w ork   experience with an international accounting   F ir m,   international   law   firm or similar   w ork   experience specialising in   U.S.   tax issues of partnerships and corporations;
- Tax   experience   w or king   with   hedge   funds, private   equity   funds,
- other   inv es tment   partnerships or insurance   companies   pr ef err ed;
- W or king   knowledge   of Microsoft Office applications, including   W or d,   Excel   and   P ow erP oint,   ATX   and   GoSystem;
- Highly   or ganised,   dedicated   and self   motivated;
- Excellent   communications, interpersonal and time   management
- skills;
- Ability   t o   coach and   ment or   more   junior   team   members; and
- Pr o v en   track   r ecord   of   w or king   collegially   with other   management   group member   t o   collectively   ge t   the   job done.
