As a   S enior Financial Analyst ,   you will   serve as a strategic partner to business leaders across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of deep financial analysis and business strategy, translating large, complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that inform decisions at the highest levels of the   organization . Th is fast-paced   role requires being comfortable in the details of a model one moment and presenting recommendations to senior   leadership   the next.

Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to surface risks, opportunities, and recommendations

- Manage, clean, and interpret large volumes of financial and operational data from multiple systems   and provide clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions

- Support rolling forecasts and annual budgeting cycles in partnership with department and business unit leaders and variance-to-budget explanations

- Build and   maintain   financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and long-range projections

- Evaluate financial performance against plan and prior periods,   identifying   drivers of change   and recommend corrective actions and efficiency opportunities

- Act as a trusted finance partner to assigned business units or department leaders

- Support cross-functional and strategic projects, helping shape decisions on business risks and opportunitie s

- Understand key business drivers well enough to challenge and inform operational plans

- Prepare and deliver polished, presentation-ready materials for senior leadership and the C-suite

- Confidently field questions from executives and adjust messaging to the audience in the room

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance , Economics or related field   required .

- 5-7 years of experience with financial and quantitative analysis   preferred.

- Proven ability to manage and analyze large, complex data sets

- Strong financial modeling skills (Excel   required ; SQL, Power BI, or similar tools a plus)

- Excellent communication and executive presence; able to translate numbers into a narrative

- Strong business acumen and comfort   operating   as a partner to non-finance leaders

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadline

- A s elf-starter   with   intellectual curiosity, initiative ,   and   capable of   driving project s   from   start to finish.

- Experience working in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.

- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential.

- Proficiency   in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and other business applications.

- Preferred candidate will  reside  or  relocate  to Houston.
