Product Owner

Alongside is a Portuguese company that partners with international organizations to build and scale exceptional tech teams.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join a collaborative technology team working on enterprise software solutions.

You will play a key role in defining product priorities, managing the backlog and translating business and customer needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

- Own and manage the product backlog , ensuring priorities reflect business objectives and customer value;
- Define clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria;
- Gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into well-defined product features;
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, QA, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Scrum Masters;
- Support the team in defining and achieving sprint goals;
- Participate in PI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies;
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle;
- Contribute to product and platform transition and enablement initiatives;
- Help ensure alignment between customer needs, product priorities and technical delivery.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within SaaS or enterprise software;
- Strong ability to influence and lead without authority;
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field .

Nice to have

- Experience with SAFe Agile;
- CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent certification .
