Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!

Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

Culinary Supervisor

- Wage: $17/hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Day/Evening/Night shifts available
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
- Location: Mercy Hospital Ada

Responsibilities

- Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
- Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
- Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors

- Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures

- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
