Tesla is seeking a skilled Construction Plumber to join our dynamic Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on advancing energy sustainability. - Troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of piping systems, including domestic water, sanitary sewer, compressed air, nitrogen supply, chemical supply and waste, soft water, and argon

- Work with various piping materials such as PVC, CPVC, and copper, and demonstrate knowledge of ProPress fittings

- Install and maintain pumps, including transfer, sump, and both single and multistage centrifugal pumps

- Use complex plumbing, mechanical, and process piping schematics to plan work scopes, install improvements, and troubleshoot issues

- Consult manuals and interpret piping diagrams, P&IDs, blueprints, and schematics

- Display positive attitudes and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial plumbing

- Knowledge of industrial and process gases and liquids, hot and cold-water services, plumbing systems, and industrial chemical systems

- Proficiency in pipe section installation using couplings, clamps, screws, cement/glue, caulking, soldering, welding, and press-fit connections (ProPress)

- Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations

- Thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning

- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently and effectively with others

- Willingness to travel to other projects as needed
