This role is critical to extending Greenwheels' reach and service quality beyond Nairobi, acting as the trusted local point of contact for drivers within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Station Operations

- Open and close the satellite hub daily in line with company operating hours and standards.
- Manage battery swap operations, ensuring charged batteries are available and depleted units are cycled correctly.
- Conduct basic visual inspections of motorbikes at the hub and escalate any maintenance or safety issues to the technical team.
- Maintain hub cleanliness, branding, and organization in line with Greenwheels' standards.

Driver Support

- Serve as the first point of contact for drivers at the station, including checking drivers in and out and resolving day-to-day queries.
- Support onboarding of drivers by providing orientation on hub procedures, battery handling, and safety practices.
- Escalate unresolved driver issues, including payments, lease terms, and disputes, to the relevant department promptly.

Inventory & Administration

- Track and manage spare parts, batteries, and consumables inventory at the hub, flagging shortages in advance.
- Maintain accurate daily records of battery swaps, driver visits, and incidents using the company's reporting system.
- Reconcile float handled at the station weekly.

Reporting & Compliance

- Submit daily and weekly reports on hub activity, driver footfall, and equipment status to the Regional Operations Supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols for battery handling and electrical equipment at all times.
- Uphold Greenwheels' standards of conduct, uniform use, and professionalism while representing the brand locally.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in a business-related course.
- At least 1 year of experience in field operations, customer service, or a similar on-the-ground role.

Skills & Abilities

- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently at a remote station with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to de-escalate driver concerns calmly and professionally.
- Basic smartphone/tablet literacy and the ability to use digital tools for daily reporting.
- Physically able to handle battery units and perform light equipment checks.
- Trustworthy and responsible when handling cash and maintaining inventory records.

Benefits
