About this role

About Haus

Haus is the causal marketing platform top businesses trust to optimize billions in ad spend worldwide. With support from PhD economists, data scientists, and growth experts, Haus’ AI-driven technology translates complex marketing measurement into clear action and outcomes, enabling brands like Dyson, Wayfair, Sonos, Fanduel, SharkNinja, and Intuit to optimize spend, accelerate growth, and make smarter marketing decisions at scale.

Why this role exists

Most B2B companies spend years trying to manufacture what we have at Haus: a brand people feel something about. Our customers post Haus memes on LinkedIn and talk about us without being asked to, and they bring other marketers along with them. Word of mouth can't be bought, and it's the hardest ingredient to create.

We've proven some individual plays and the leader of our Demand Gen team will build the engine around them - a defined universe of target accounts, a tested point of view on what to say to each of them, and repeatable pipeline we can forecast.

We're bringing a modern, rigorous approach to a large category that's still anchored to legacy vendors and approaches - a market where the incumbents are beatable and the buyers are actively looking for better. Winning there will require: account-based, multi-threaded, sales-partnered demand gen.

What you'll do

Enterprise & ABM - the core of the role

- Define and tier the target account universe; own the logic behind it
- Build the data motion underneath it, in partnership with our ops team: use AI and modern tooling to map the addressable market, enrich and score accounts, prioritize them, and sequence outreach, and keep that system current
- Build and run named-account programs: trigger-based campaigns mapped to enterprise pain points, signal-based plays against accounts already showing intent, land-and-expand
- Establish a functional operating rhythm with sales - account selection, plays, handoffs, feedback loops
- Design multi-touch, multi-threaded campaigns suited to long enterprise cycles and multi-stakeholder committees
- Extend reach into adjacent buyers — analytics and data science leaders — who expand our addressable market
- Turn word of mouth into a program: references, executive advocates, customer stories, and community motions that make each enterprise win generate the next one

Targeting & messaging

- Own ICP definition and segmentation for demand generation
- Develop segment-level messaging and value propositions; test them in market and adjust fast
- Sharpen competitive differentiation against legacy vendors and newer entrants and enable the team on it
- Partner with PMM who owns our platform and MMM narratives so the demand-side story is consistent with the company story.

Channels & programs

- Own the channel mix: paid, content, email/lifecycle, events, webinars, etc.
- Oversee paid acquisition - search, social, sponsorships directly or through agency, including creative strategy and execution
- Bring demand rigor to our existing motions: executive dinners, masterclasses, industry conferences, and roadshows should have pipeline attached before they're greenlit
- Manage the demand gen budget and make explicit tradeoff calls about where it goes

Measurement & operations

- Build the pipeline model and the reporting that makes the funnel legible to the exec team
- Own demand-side instrumentation: attribution, funnel conversion by segment and stage, enterprise-versus-core cuts, cohort behavior
- Bring measurement rigor to your own spend, and be honest when the data is ambiguous

Team

- Manage and develop one direct report for now
- Manage agency and contractor relationships

What we're looking for

Required

- 6-10 years in demand generation, with ownership of a pipeline number
- Demonstrated experience building an ABM or enterprise demand motion at a meaningful scale. We're less interested in someone who inherited and optimized a working engine.
- Track record generating pipeline from enterprise buying committees with long, multi-stakeholder cycles
- You've defined ICP and built messaging yourself
- Committed to operational rigor including signal and intent tooling
- Fluent enough in paid acquisition to own strategy, set budgets, and hold an agency accountable
- Strong quantitative instincts - you can build a pipeline model, argue about attribution definitions, and hold a line on them
- Experience partnering closely with sales

Strong plus

- Marketing to marketers, or selling martech, measurement, or analytics
- Experience in a company making the mid-market-to-enterprise transition
- Familiarity with incrementality testing, media mix modeling, attribution a plus
- Displacing entrenched legacy vendors
- Early-stage experience where you built the function rather than joined it

This may not be the right role if

We'd rather you self-select out now than six months in.

- You want to be handed a target list and positioning. You'll be defining both.
- You're primarily a paid media operator. Paid matters here, but it isn't the differentiating work, and it isn't how you'll be evaluated.
- The brand and community story is what drew you, but carrying a pipeline number isn't. Both are the job. The brand is the asset; converting it into forecastable enterprise pipeline is the mandate.
- You need mature infrastructure and clean data to be effective. Some of the plumbing isn't built yet, and building it is part of the job.
- You need consensus and cover to make decisions.

How Haus is Different

We're a customer-obsessed, high-ownership team that would rather run an experiment than argue in a meeting. We work in small, lean pods where each person is a bar raiser in some area, and we move fast without waiting for a playbook. We value impact over activity, curiosity over comfort, and small inexact steps over large impeccable leaps.

AI is part of how we work. We use it every day to move faster and think more clearly, and we look for people who are curious about new tools and fluent in putting them to work. What we care about is your judgment: AI should sharpen your thinking, not stand in for it.
