Role Description

We are   seeking   a dynamic and driven   General Manager to lead the Asia Pacific region, driving revenue through   capital equipment sales,   services   and   creation of Customer Evangelists. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of   Pyxa   across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate has a proven   track record   in   direct and distribution driven   life science sales,   regional   marketing   and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders   globally.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the regional go-to-market strategy, balancing direct and indirect (distributor/partner) channels by country

- Identify   and prioritize new market entry or expansion opportunities within APAC

- Provide the customer voice from APAC, ensuring regional needs shape corporate strategy

- Distribution leadership - Develop the   appropriate framework   for onboarding new dealers

- Select, onboard, and manage the network of distributors, resellers, and channel partners across APAC countries

- Negotiate and manage distribution agreements, pricing, terms, and performance targets hand in hand with US based legal counsel & the SVP of Global Commercial

- Monitor distributor performance (sell-through, inventory levels, forecast accuracy) and take corrective action when needed

- Ensure regulatory, customs, and import/export compliance for product distribution in each market

- Manage channel conflict and ensure consistent pricing/positioning across markets

- Service & Support – Create Customer Evangelists through top tier support

- Align service & support standards with global expectations, ensure proper training & ongoing certifications for direct service and support as well as   Distribution partners

- Monitor & update customer health dashboard to ensure clear communication with global leadership

- Escalate issues quickly & drive to resolution to ensure customer satisfaction

- Maintain relationships with regional key accounts, KOLs, and strategic clients

- Gather regional market intelligence (competitor activity, regulatory shifts, customer needs) and feed it back to global product and marketing teams

- Support local marketing and demand-generation activities in partnership with global marketing

- Maintain CRM / integration with distributor funnel to ensure predictability of business

- Foster a regional culture aligned with global corporate values

Qualifications

- 8+ years of   direct & distribution   life sciences sales experience   across the APAC region, focused on capital equipment and fee-for-service sales.

- Prospecting mindset, with proven success in territory planning, pipeline management, and closing deals.

- Technical   expertise   in genomics, spatial biology, and/or imaging technologies.

- Experience selling to academic, biotech, and pharma customers, engaging with scientists, core facilities, and procurement teams.

- Proficiency   in CRM and AI tools for sales operations and reporting.

- Strong presentation and communication skills for scientific demos and seminars.

- Ability to excel in a constantly changing, high-growth environment.

- 50%+ travel   required   within the   APAC Region.
