About this role
• Proficient in the DP2 system architecture; troubleshoot DP hardware, interface, network;
• Able to diagnose the Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and fieldbus networks, identify communication errors in the logic system;
• Able to calibrate multiple reference system: CyScan, Radius, Fanbeam;
• Able to troubleshoot the electronics control loops, frequency converters, feedback sensors (RPM, thruster propeller pitch, azimuth angle);
• Able to troubleshoot the Power Management Systems (PMS);
• Able to give a support in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and DP trial;
• Able to maintain troubleshooting correspondence with OEM (Kongsberg, Converteam, etc.).
