About the Role

- Implement Innovative Features:  Develop features for ESET's global websites, including www.eset.com , ESET CMS, ESET Science Award, and WeLiveSecurity BLOG.
- Agile Team Collaboration (SCRUM):  Actively contribute to daily stand-ups, bi-weekly SCRUM sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews, focusing on targeted objectives for efficient development.
- Continuous Learning:  Proactively acquire new skills, writing code that is easily readable, modifiable, and conducive to automated testing for robust solutions.

Essential Requirements

- At least Bachelor degree in Computer Science
- English language (B2 minimum)
- Experience with PHP 8.x, OOP principles, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Laravel/Symfony, MySQL/PostgreSQL,
- Git, Git Flow
- Create and maintain REST APIs, work with 3rd party REST APIs
- PHPUnit, Unit testing, Feature/Integrational testing, write automated tests
- HTML/CSS/JS knowledge and experience
- Composer, Docker, Linux
- IDE proficiency (PHPStorm or VS Code)
- Experience with Microservices
- Optimize SQL queries and application performance
- Use Docker, Git, and CI/CD in daily work
- Work comfortably with Laravel/Symfony DI containers
- Develop features independently
- Debug production issues
- Participate in architecture discussions and suggest improvements

Desirable Requirements

- Experience with Builder.io (or other headless CMS)
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and modern AI-powered engineering workflows
- Experience with GraphQL, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, Azure, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes basics, CI/CD pipeline, Redis, OPcache, RabbitMQ, Kafka or other, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry

Basic wage component: 3000 EUR (brutto) monthly

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate. 
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period (usually 6 months).
