Qualifications
What Youll Do
- Operate production machinery and perform tasks in producing, packing, and shipping flour and crisp rice products.
- Safely operate forklifts or other powered equipment when needed.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and process control policies.
- Complete and maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
- Identify and report defective materials or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support production goals.
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (food or chemical industry preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting production documents and customer orders.
- Basic computer knowledge a plus.
- Willingness to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Standing for long periods; occasional stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and climb ladders as needed.
- Work with PPE in a fast-paced, non-air-conditioned plant environment.
- Exposure to dust, rotating equipment, hot/cold temperatures, noise, wet floors, and moving lift equipment.
