Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Welder to join our West Texas team!
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in welding with the ability to work independently while producing high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards and safety requirements. Oilfield experience is preferred. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Weld structural components according to specifications
- Inspect welds for quality and adherence to project standards
- Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support technicians and fabricators with equipment builds and repairs
- Inspect parts and equipment for damage, wear, and quality standards
- Load and unload materials and finished equipment
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and a clean, organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Welding experience required ( Pipe, Stick and Structural)
- Fitting experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of pressure control equipment preferred
- Ability to read measuring tools and follow work instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a shop or outdoor environment (heat, noise, etc.)
- Ability to bend, kneel, and perform manual labor tasks
