Position Summary
The Paint Technician is responsible for mixing primers and paints, preparing surfaces, and applying coatings and touch-up work as needed. Additional duties include sanding, masking, applying fillers, and performing post-paint cleanup. On-the-job training is provided.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production work areas, ensuring all supplies, materials, and tools are returned to designated locations throughout the day.

- Learn to paint and prime legacy stock product lines, clear-coat FFT stocks, and sponge FFT stocks.

- Perform stock priming.

- Conduct booth cleanup and maintenance.

- Perform care and maintenance of paint systems.

- Always follow safe work practices in accordance with Christensen Arms policies and procedures; correct or report unsafe conditions and consistently use required PPE.

- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve daily.

- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure production of high-quality parts.

- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety guidelines, including posted signs and safety policies.

- Complete production records, work orders, and area logs as work is completed.
