RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow maps, GPS, or written directions to deliver materials to customer shops and job sites.

- Use good judgment in assessing job site conditions and ensuring safe unloading practices.

- Follow all DOT, OSHA, licensing, company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations in the operation of company vehicles.

- Obtain valid customer signatures on all delivery documentation.

- Take clear photos of deliveries to document quantities and materials delivered (e.g., 6 bundles, 2 skids, etc.).

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

- Training will be provided for additional equipment that may be used, including boom cranes and other truck-mounted equipment.

- Be available for early start times, including as early as 4:00 a.m.

- Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs.

- Successfully complete training and certification requirements on company equipment used to load and unload pipe and other materials from flatbed trailers and other approved equipment.

- Secure loads in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures to ensure safe transportation of materials.

- Deliver materials to active construction sites, customer facilities, and other delivery locations while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and seek clarification when needed to ensure duties are completed accurately and safely.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license with an acceptable driving record.

- Must meet all DOT qualification requirements, including the ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

- Must be able to successfully complete training and certification requirements for all company equipment.

- Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience.

- Experience delivering to construction sites and securing flatbed loads is preferred.

- Experience operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift), piggyback forklift, or similar material handling equipment is preferred.

- Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.

- Prior experience with RF technology used in barcode environments is helpful but not required.
