Edgeband Operator

Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Edgeband Operator to join our high-performing Machining Department. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience who are eager to expand their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Youll work with raw cabinet components and edge banding materials to produce high-quality cabinetry components with seamless, professional edges that exceed expectations.

What Youll Do

- Apply edge banding to cut cabinet components for a polished, professional finish.

- Clean and maintain your machine and work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.

- Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving jobs to the next production stage.

- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.

- Clean and maintain your work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall quality and efficiency.

- Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.

Qualifications

What You Bring

- Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience, ideally in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We're committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.

- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.

- Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and small barcodes.

- A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
