About this role

Job Summary:

As the Manager – Enterprise Planning & Optimization, you will lead enterprise-level planning and optimization to ensure reliable customer delivery, balanced workloads, and cost-effective operations in partnership with many departments across the organization. You will drive optimization initiatives such as product-to-plant mapping, scheduling governance, logistics alignment, and MIS/ERP integration while preparing for future automation.

Essential Functions:

- Oversee enterprise scheduling governance and master scheduling standards.

- Direct MIS integration (Monarch Go Live) into scheduling and logistics workflows.

- Partner with the Marceline Scheduling Supervisor to ensure tactical stability while driving strategic orchestration of yearbook planning and delivery.

- Lead product-to-plant mapping, enterprise intake, cross plant scheduling logic, and enterprise continuous improvement.

- Develop executive dashboards and reports for capacity utilization, bottlenecks, and service-level impacts.

- Integrate scheduling governance with logistics to unify order-to-ship customer promises.

- Develop platform planning automation and enterprise decisions tools.

- Partner with MIS/ERP stakeholders to ensure optimization logic aligns with future technology upgrades and automation opportunities.

- Facilitate cross-functional executive reviews to support planning and optimization performance, forecast accuracy, and tradeoff decisions to strategic business goals.

- Develop capital plan, performance standards, and KPIs for enterprise planning and optimization.

- All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.

- Expertise in scheduling, logistics, and enterprise optimization.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP/MIS planning systems, and analytics dashboards.

- Skilled in scenario modeling, forecasting, and decision support.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

- Office and plant floor environments; travel to plants as needed.

- Capable of working in stressful conditions balancing competing priorities across enterprise manufacturing sites

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain required; MBA preferred.

- 8+ years in operations, planning, or scheduling with enterprise-level responsibility.
