Wilkins RV is hiring RV Service Technicians at all experience levels! Whether you're an experienced RV technician, a skilled tradesperson looking to transition into the RV industry, or someone early in their technical career who is eager to learn, we want to talk to you.

Pay range (based upon experience):
- Apprentice: $18–$21
- Developing: $21–$25
- Mid-Level: $25–$30
- Experienced: $30–$35
- Senior/Master: $35–$40+
Pay is commensurate with experience - let's talk! In addition to your hourly rate, our technician compensation program provides the opportunity to earn a weekly performance bonus as your billable hours increase. You can earn up to an ADDITIONAL $13.00/hour as part of this bonus program; the more you grow your skills and billable hours, the more you can earn.

- Technician Levels
We welcome applicants at all levels of experience, including:

Entry-Level / Apprentice Technician: Little or no RV experience required. Mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and experience with tools or hands-on work are a plus. We'll help you develop the skills needed to become a successful RV technician.

Experienced Technician: Candidates with experience in RV service, automotive repair, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, or general maintenance can bring valuable skills to the position.
Senior / Highly Experienced Technician: Experienced RV professionals who can diagnose and repair complex systems, work efficiently, and help mentor less-experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform assigned repairs and maintenance with quality, efficiency, and attention to detail in accordance with factory and dealership standards.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and company RVs according to schedules established by the Service Manager and Service Advisors.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge through factory-sponsored training, service schools, and other available training opportunities.
- Work toward achieving the highest level of technical certification available.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, dealership personnel, and vendor representatives.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment.
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
- For experienced technicians, assist with troubleshooting, complex repairs, and mentoring developing technicians.
Skills & Experience

Experience or transferable skills in any of the following areas are valuable:
- RV Repair
- Automotive Repair
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Refrigeration
- Carpentry
- Appliance Repair
- General Maintenance
- Mechanical Repair
- Construction or skilled trades

You don't need experience in every area. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy solving problems, and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

A New York State Inspection License is a plus but is not required.

What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to furnish your own basic hand/shop tools, depending on experience level.
- Valid driver's license.
- Positive attitude and desire to build a career in the RV service industry.
Don't have RV experience? That's okay. Your experience in automotive, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, refrigeration, maintenance, construction, or other hands-on trades may give you a great foundation for a career as an RV Service Technician.
