We are currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our Behavioral Health program. As a Clinical Supervisor , you’ll supervise and provide consultation to therapists, ensuring treatment standards and ethical guidelines are followed.

Key Responsibilities

- Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.

- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.

- Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.

- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.

- Conducts regular supervision sessions to support clinical staff in case conceptualization, treatment planning and ethical decision-making.

- Reviews treatment plans and documentation for quality, accuracy and compliance with agency and Medicaid standards.

- Guides clinical interventions to ensure alignment with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.

- Provides training to enhance clinical skills, cultural competence and professional growth.

- Delivers performance evaluations and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.

- Fosters mentorship relationships to build confidence and competence among team members.

- Monitors service delivery to ensure timely and effective care.

- Support crisis situations and high-risk cases with consultation and direct intervention when necessary.

- Facilitates team meetings and case conferences to promote collaboration and shared learning.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.

- Independent licensure (e.g., LISW, LPCC, LMFT) required.

- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with youth and families; supervisory experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and home-based service delivery.

- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance and waiver programs and community resources.

- Good problem-solving skills.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail in assessment and in documentation.

- Ability to instruct, counsel and evaluate subordinate professional staff.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and be attentive to detail.

- Effective interpersonal skills with respect for others, including consumers, co-workers and other professionals within a diverse work environment.

- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and flexibility in relationship to job requirements.

- Computer skills sufficient to enter and process consumer information, report preparation, and use CareStar’s website and email, and familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.

- Valid driver’s license and car insurance as required by State law
