Position Summary EVENTS BY RHC is a boutique off-premise caterer based in New York City. We are currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Porter/Dishwaser to join our dynamic culinary team. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.Maintain a clean and tidy work areaFollow health and safety guidelinesSort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areasAssist in areas in the kitchen when neededMaintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and other food prep surfaces.Removes trash and places it in designated containers. At end of shift puts trash outside in designated areas.Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Qualifications Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimal work experienceStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExceptional time management skillsAbility to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 30 poundsWillingness to comply with all food safety proceduresFlexible shift hours (Sunday required) Strengthened by our Differences.
