Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny- Longmeadow, MA

A family of five in Longmeadow, MA, is seeking a live-in Housekeeper/Family Assistant to become a long-term member of their household. This is primarily a housekeeping and family assistant position, with childcare support as needed.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and comfortable pitching in wherever needed. Responsibilities will include full-charge family laundry, household organization, children's meal preparation, errands, and occasional childcare. The family is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and team-oriented who enjoys working in a busy household and is willing to adapt to the family's changing needs.

Responsibilities:

- Manage full-charge laundry for the family of five, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting clothes away.
- Light housekeeping of 8,000sf home.
- Maintain household organization, tidiness, and general upkeep.
- Prepare meals primarily for the children, including dinner and make-ahead meals.
- Run household errands, including shopping and other family-related tasks.
- Grocery shopping.
- Assist with childcare as needed around the children's active sports schedules.
- Work collaboratively with the family and existing cleaning service to ensure the household runs smoothly.
- Maintain a positive, organized, and proactive approach to household responsibilities.
 
Qualifications:

- Strong housekeeping and organizational skills.
- Experienced with full-charge family laundry.
- Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals for children.
- Comfortable caring for children and providing occasional sole-charge childcare.
- Proactive, dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently while also being part of a family team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary: $40 per hour

Schedule:  50 hours per week, weekends included.
