The Retail Store Intelligence Analyst will serve as the authoritative voice on store performance across Apple's global retail fleet - designing and maintaining the frameworks, scoring models, and benchmarking systems that define how performance is understood, compared, and communicated at a store level.
This person brings technical fluency across measurement methodology, has a drive to build modern AI-native analytics tools and a practitioner's instinct for developing new and innovative solutions that integrate into and enhance team workflows and data infrastructure .
This person will translate complex, multi-dimensional data across financial, operational, market, and strategic dimensions into a single coherent view of fleet health and serve as a primary performance intelligence resource for the regional geo analysts who anchor their market work in store-level benchmarks.

Design, maintain, and evolve Apple Retail Real Estate’s store performance scoring and classification methodology - ensuring it remains a rigorous, credible, and decision-relevant composite of financial efficiency, operational quality, market opportunity, and strategic value
Lead fleet-wide performance benchmarking and store-level scorecard production, enabling consistent, comparable evaluation across AMR, APAC, and EMEIA
Partner with regional geo analysts to provide the performance tiers, benchmarks, and store-level context that ground their market and investment analysis
Synthesize data from across the full store data ecosystem - spanning financials, traffic, NPS, lease, and real estate dimensions - into clear performance narratives for leadership and cross-functional audiences
Build AI-native analytics solutions and tools that modernize how store performance data is structured, interrogated, and surfaced - moving the team beyond static reporting towards dynamic, scalable intelligence
Partner with Finance and Real Estate teams to ensure store performance measurement is aligned with capital allocation priorities, lease decision-making, and reinvestment strategy

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in performance measurement, commercial analytics, retail strategy, or a related quantitative discipline at a major retailer, top-tier consulting firm, or technology company
Strong quantitative foundation — proficiency in building composite scoring and benchmarking models, statistical analysis, and working with large, multi-source datasets; proficiency in SQL required
Demonstrated ability to design and maintain durable analytical frameworks that hold up under scrutiny and evolve with the business
Ability to simplify complex, multi-dimensional performance data into clear, actionable narratives for senior and executive audiences — in written, oral, and formal presentation formats
Experience working cross-functionally with finance, real estate, or strategy teams
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

12+ years of experience in performance analytics, commercial measurement, or strategy with increasing seniority and scope
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
Experience in retail real estate, store operations, or fleet performance management
Familiarity with GIS, spatial analysis tools, or large-scale retail data infrastructure
Track record of influencing senior investment or prioritization decisions through performance measurement and benchmarking
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
Experience building agentic analytics tools or AI-native workflows for business intelligence or performance reporting
