Role Overview:
Our Software Solutions team is building the dashboard that powers the future of construction. As the Software Engineer in this role, you will help site owners monitor multi-OEM fleets, track emissions, and take real-time action - all through clean design and modern data infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Full-Stack Feature Development: Building product features across backend, frontend, and real-time messaging systems
Collaborative Problem Solving: Working with domain experts to shape telemetry insights into user-facing tools
Platform Contribution: Contributing to the shared platform layer for all internal AI and data systems
Backend API Development: Build and maintain scalable backend APIs using Node.js and NestJS
Data Pipeline Design: Design data pipelines and real-time features using Kafka and MQTT
Frontend Development: Develop frontend components using Vue.js
Infrastructure & Deployment: Ensure quality with Docker, and Terraform deployments on AWS ECS
End-to-end Ownership: Own features end-to-end with close collaboration across teams
Who You Are (Experience Required):
- Full-Stack Engineering Background : At least 4 years in full-stack development (Node.js, NestJS, Vue.js)
- Streaming Protocols : Experience with MQTT, Kafka, or similar streaming protocols
- Cloud & DevOps Skills : Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (Docker, Terraform, AWS ECS)
- Builder’s Mindset : A builder’s mindset with comfort working across the stack
- Comfort with Ambiguity : Excited by ambiguous, cross-functional challenges
- Self-Motivated and Collaborative : Able to dive deep, but surface quickly
- Curiosity & Craftsmanship : Curious about new tools and passionate about clean, scalable engineering
