The Issue Risk Prevention team in Trust & Safety is responsible for identifying, investigating, and synthesizing systemic risk signals across geographies, product features, and high-harm domains.

Reporting to the Issue Risk Prevention Analyst Lead, this role focuses on driving high-quality root cause analysis (RCA), translating risk signals into actionable insights, and enabling durable prevention strategies that support measurable risk reduction.
This role will partner closely with Program Managers and cross-functional teams (Product, Policy, Ops, Platform Responsibility, Risk Prevention & Response) to ensure strong analytical foundations for prevention efforts. While not owning day-to-day containment, the team plays a critical role in diagnosing systemic gaps and informing long-term solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify emerging and persistent risk patterns across markets, product surfaces and high-harm domains
- Drive the analytical strategy for the assigned risk domain, including prioritization of risk topics by assessing severity, scale and recurrence patterns
- Conduct root cause analyses to uncover systemic gaps across product, policy, and operations
- Generate clear, actionable reporting and insights to inform decision making
- Partner closely with Issue Risk Prevention Program Managers to shape mitigation strategies with strong analytical grounding
- Monitor key risk metrics and its data quality, recommending adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with Risk Detection, Risk Containment, Policy and other stakeholders to inform analytical findings, drive discussions and build alignment, broadening impact of the proposed recommendations
