Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office) – Warsaw, Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Łódź

Rate: Up to 120 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)

Contracting Party: Optiveum

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior IT Analyst to join our client, a renowned organization operating within the international banking and payments sector. In this role, you will act as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring that business strategies are effectively translated into sustainable, high-quality technical solutions.

You will sign a B2B cooperation agreement directly with Optiveum .

Your Responsibilities

- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand, document, and align business strategies with the target architectural picture.
- Eliciting functional and non-functional requirements by cooperating with various stakeholders (architects, developers, testers, business, and legal teams).
- Translating business strategies into detailed, actionable technical requirements for the IT team.
- Securing requirements traceability to ensure smooth end-to-end development.
- Taking ownership of requirements documentation (including use cases) and continuous quality improvement.
- Supporting testers and developers across the team and hub.
- Verifying developed solutions by reviewing and analyzing test results.
- Providing actionable insights to stakeholders on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Must-Have Skills

- Proven experience in IT and/or business analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with experience in international collaboration.
- Knowledge of the banking sector and the payments domain.
- Experience in API development, Data Mapping, and Process Modeling.
- Practical knowledge of SQL, user interface prototyping, and design.
- Familiarity with architecture diagrams (e.g., sequence diagrams).
- Solid technical background to effectively collaborate with developers.
- Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies (including Jira and Confluence).

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
- Practical knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Single and Multi Payments systems.
