Join a high-impact team delivering   end-to-end integration and data architecture solutions   for some of New Zealand’s leading organisations across   financial services, government, and large   enterprise . This role sits at the forefront of   cloud transformation , designing and implementing scalable, secure integration platforms that connect complex ecosystems and enable   real business   outcomes.

You’ll   work closely with clients to shape strategy, lead solution design, and deliver modern   API-led and event-driven architectures   across Azure and multi-cloud environments, while also playing a key role in growing capability and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities will include:

- Lea d the   design and delivery of cloud-based integration and data solutions ,   leveraging   Azure , Mulesoft   and modern architecture patterns

- Architect and implement   API-led, microservices, and event-driven solutions   across complex enterprise environments

- Engage directly with clients to   run workshops, define requirements, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

- Provide   technical leadership across delivery , ensuring solutions meet security, resilience, and operational standards

- Drive adoption of   DevOps, CI/CD, and automation practices   to enable efficient and sustainable delivery

- Support   pre-sales and solution shaping , contributing to proposals and building strong client relationships

- Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to practice growth and capability development

- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related degree.

- 10 years+   experience leading   end-to-end design and delivery of data and integration solutions , including running client workshops,   g athering   and translating business and data requirements into scalable architectures, and ensuring alignment to security, reliability, and Well-Architected principles

- Proven ability to   build and manage client relationships in a commercial environment , with experience supporting pre-sales (proposals, solution shaping, technical discussions), and confidently engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive successful outcomes

Technical requirements:

Essential:

- Microsoft Azure: API Management, Application Gateways, Logic Apps, Functions, Fabric, AI Search, Foundry, AKS,   VNets , Azure Front Door, Web Application Firewall, Storage Services, DevOps

- Integration Platforms :   MuleSoft ( CloudHub )

Desirable:

- Amazon Web Services:  EKS, Bedrock, Agent Core, API Gateway, Storage Services, EC2, Lambda, VPC

- Development Technologies:   Java   ( SpringBoo t ), .NET

- Platform & Infrastructure:   OpenShift, SAP BTP

- AI & Developer Tooling:   GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio
