The position will involve responsibilities in all areas of financial accounting, budgeting activities, analytics and reporting, audit preparation, monitoring, and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger; prepare and enter month end and other required journal entries.
- Assist with reconciling investment, equity, debt and partners distributions.
- Review and reconcile monthly transactions and balances for accuracy.
- Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and budgets.
- Prepare work papers and various reports for external auditing.
- Preparation of monthly management reports, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports of portfolios under management and providing follow-up of significant variances.
- Assist with completion of the quarterly and annual reporting requirements and financial covenants to various parties.
- Administer obligations and responsibilities under the project agreements.
- Contribute to the Company special projects and support ad hoc requests as assigned and support.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 2 years of experience; CPA and public accounting experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with renewable energy industry or real estate accounting desired.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with different levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to multitask and undertake complex tasks.
- Project-oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time.
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Salary will vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
