About this role
As an Intern, you will:
- Perform monthly or quarterly closing activities including posting of journal entries and Balance sheet reconciliation;
- Assist with statutory and tax accounting activities which includes local compliance reporting & external submissions, withholding tax filing, preparation of tax package etc
- Assist with Payroll close and reconciliation activities
- Assist with coordination of SOX and compliance matters
- Support and implement initiatives for automation, process improvement, and transformation on accounting
Job Qualification
- The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business, or any professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA, etc)
- Min 3.40 CGPA
- Proactive working attitude, driven, good critical thinking skills, good communication skills
- Adaptable to a MNC day-to-day activities/environment
