About this role
The Contract C ompliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Property Development and Finance teams, third-party consultants, and construction managers with construction contract setup and project lifecycle tracking, utilizing QTS project management and financial systems, tools, and workflows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive support to Project Managers by ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, addressing follow-up items, and driving initiatives to maintain project schedules and scope adherence.
- Offer E-Builder support through integration efforts in project development, assist with cost and budget tracking, and maintain up-to-date project files. Provide Workday support by creating construction contracts.
- Manage and ensure compliance with construction contracts by overseeing contract setup and verifying that billing requirements are met.
- Manage and facilitate kickoff meetings to train and onboard new general contractors on billing processes, pay application requirements, and system uploads, ensuring smooth integration into project workflows
- Key contact for development construction contracts and monthly payables including submitting breakout payments to the contractors with multiple projects, and verifying all contractor documentation has been provided
- Create and monitor Supplier Contracts and Change Orders for Project Managers across all Substation, Datahall, and Shell projects, ensuring alignment with approved contracts.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and third-party stakeholders to facilitate billing and change order processes
- Engages directly with contractors, designers, and vendors to address project cost and billing inquiries.
- Manages monthly pay applications, tracks payments, and ensures timely submission for processing.
- Collaborates with Accounting to resolve pay application reconciliations as needed and supports process improvement initiatives.
- Work with Project Managers to submit / track and route change orders/add services as requested for projects
- Ensures that construction contracts, change order contracts, and substantial completion certificates are appropriately filed under legal documents in e-Builder.
- Assist with the construction contract closeout process, ensuring all documentation is completed, final payments are processed, and contracts are properly archived.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, financing, or accounting; or relevant professional experience. One to three years of experience.
- Knowledge of construction contract documents and change management.
- Experience in financial and project management software (e.g., Workday, e-Builder, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Ability to collaboratively work within dynamic and diverse team and environment.
- Three or more years of experience in construction or project management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One or more years working in a data center environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Basic accounting understanding and applications.
