About this role
With 80,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest fast-charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep our customers charged when they are away from home. Tesla is the only charging network with vertical integration - producing charging hardware, making its own software and building and maintaining its own network.
As expansion of our charging infrastructure continues, we are looking for a Project Developer to develop the Semi Charging network and expand our Supercharging network, by finding and signing strategic locations primarily within The Netherlands, liaising with grid operators, and occasionally also supporting in other regions. In your day-to-day activities you will develop market research, prospect potential site hosts, work with existing partners, pitch our proposition, and negotiate and close deals. This is a high-ownership role. You'll be empowered to move fast, make real decisions, and deliver infrastructure that directly shapes how heavy transport electrifies across Europe. Success here requires grit, urgency, and a hands-on approach.
- Identify and secure the best Semi charging and Supercharging sites across the Netherlands
- Use Tesla's proprietary datasets and analytical tools to surface high-potential opportunities and convert insights into concrete site agreements
- Present clear, persuasive proposals to prospective site hosts and negotiate long-term partnerships that anchor the Semi charging network for scale
- Collaborate closely with construction, installation, and infrastructure teams to move sites from signed agreements through to live deployment
- Contribute to the growth of the broader Tesla charging ecosystem, including consumer Supercharger network development across the region
- Lead the development of new charging location offerings that keep Tesla ahead in commercial e-mobility and freight electrification
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing hosts and partners, driving network expansion and long-term mutual success
- 3+ years of relevant experience in network development, commercial real estate, site acquisition, fleet/logistics, or a stakeholder-facing commercial role — experience in the commercial vehicle or EV charging space is a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you spot opportunities, move on them, and figure out what you need along the way
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trust with a wide range of partners — from landowners to large logistics operators
- Genuine affinity for e-mobility, sustainable transport, or renewable energy, and a drive to keep learning
- Fluency in Dutch and English. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel 1–2 days per week on average; travel is self-planned for flexibility
- Valid driver's license
