Process Technician, Components

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team at Tesla. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, programming, and hydraulic systems, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement of equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Provide daily coverage of production line processes for smooth operations, responding promptly to out-of-control processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
- Analyze data to identify trends and implement countermeasures to enhance process Cpk and product yield
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and implement upgrades
- Utilize programming skills to update and modify control systems for enhanced functionality
- Support engineering and manufacturing by improving and drafting manufacturing instructions, technical documents, and drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits as per established protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in data collection, visualization, and data analysis
- Experience with programming and control systems used in manufacturing
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with high-volume production lines
