About this role
We are building advanced robotics. You own
the perception that lets the robot understand and act on its environment, and
the software that connects the robot to backend systems.
Role mission
Build the perception and integration
software - robust 3D perception, the teleoperation client, and the backend /
enterprise integration agent.
- Develop robust 3D perception on stereo / RGB-D depth and detection outputs: target
- geometry and actionable features, using geometry and conservative policies
rather than per-instance models
- Implement fiducial / marker reading for state confirmation and semantic anchoring.
- Build the low-latency teleoperation client (drive + actuation + video) and the operator
UX for authority handoff
- Implement the backend / enterprise integration agent: job/state protocol, telemetry, and
exception handling as adapters to existing systems
- Contribute to calibration, localization data tooling, and field data
pipelines
- 3+ years of software engineering in robotics, perception, or systems/backend
- Strong C++ and/or Python
- Computer vision / depth perception fundamentals; camera calibration; working with stereo
or RGB-D data
- Solid API integration and real-time or networked systems experience
