About this role
We are building advanced robotics. You put the sensing and compute kit onto the robot and lead the hands-on work of getting it running on site.
Role mission
Own the physical integration of the sensing/ compute kit onto the robot and lead field commissioning.
- Design and install sensor mounts, the equipment bay, and cabling / harness; ensure
drawing compliance and clear sensor line-of-sight
- Own mechanical integration of cameras, safety sensors, compute, and
charging-interface hardware
- Run field commissioning: mapping runs, sensor calibration, test-site setup, and KPI
capture, including off-hours test windows
- Act as teleoperation operator during development and recovery; handle first-line
maintenance and spare parts
- Liaise with hardware suppliers on mounting details and combined-mass / stability
inputs
- 3+ years in mechanical / integration or field / commissioning engineering on robots, vehicles, or automated equipment
- Hands-on fabrication and mounting, CAD for
sensor brackets, and cabling
- Comfortable leading on-site testing with shift
flexibility during commissioning
- Methodical about calibration, data capture, and
documentation

experience
- Sensor calibration (cameras, LiDAR)
- German language proficiency
