At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Your role

A career within our delivery center offers you the unique opportunity to support a diverse range of multinational clients by ensuring accuracy and efficiency to meet their obligations under a complex new global tax regime. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Pillar 2 Two Global Minimum Tax (GMT) regime will be adopted by more than 140 countries including Malaysia which will be implementing the GMT as well as the qualified domestic minimum top-up tax in 2025.Our delivery center is pivotal in helping clients navigate and meet their needs in a dynamic business environment. We provide services that streamline operations, optimize performance, and improve client satisfaction.

As   a Manager , you will play a leadership role in delivering complex, multi - jurisdicitonal   Pillar Two GMT engagements while driving quality, efficiency, and team capability within the Delivery Centre. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and oversee   end-to-end   delivery of   large-scale   Pillar Two GMT engagements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to agreed scope and service levels.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance, including compliance   and reporting processes across multiple   jurisdictions .
- Review and   validate   complex deliverables, ensuring technical quality, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards before submission to clients or network firms .
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships,   anticipating   needs, proactively addressing risks, and proposing practical solutions to emerging issues.
- Plan and   allocate   resources effectively across engagements, balancing delivery priorities, capacity, and team development needs.
- ead, coach, and develop team members, including conducting regular coaching conversations, providing constructive feedback, and supporting career progression.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing   delivery   workflows,   leveraging   technology, automation tools, and   standardised   processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Navigate cross   border   and diverse team environments, coordinating with internal PwC teams and network firms to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Contribute to technical knowledge development, including building internal guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting training initiatives within the Delivery Centre
- Support business development and growth initiatives, including identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships.
- U phold and role   model   the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct .

Skills, experience and qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting   or related field and/or professional qualification
- Strong business technical knowledge with at least 6   years   working experience in tax compliance   and consultancy, ideally in a professional services organization
- Pillar Two GMT knowledge/experience, though not   required , will be an added advantage
- A good understanding of IFRS and/or MFRS rules will be an added advantage
- A commitment to learn new tax concepts and work in a tax technology environment.
- Excellent client handling and   team work   skills
- People management and project management experience
- A good level   of commercial awareness
- Self-motivated   and   an appetite to support business development efforts to advertise our services and secure new clients
- Possess good English speaking and writing skills
