About this role
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of expansion, interior build-out, and facility replacement for Hubs and Sortations. This role is critical for the growth of our logistics network and requires a leader who can manage complex cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
Key responsibilities :
1. Expansion & Facility Management
- Lead Expansion Projects: Oversee the entire process from location surveying to final facility handover.
- Facility Replacement & Renovation: Manage the upgrade and replacement of existing hubs and sortation centers.
- Site Assessments: Work with Operations to evaluate candidates based on:
- Commercial viability
- Parking area and truck loading/unloading logistics
- Internal layout for sorting and bagging operations
2. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Landlord Liaison: Lead interior build-out, and renovation negotiations with landlords.
- Procurement & Finance Coordination: Follow up on procurement for negotiations and finance for payments to ensure project continuity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Facility Management, Maintenance, and IT to ensure installation of:
- Functioning internet
- Electricity and backup power
- Essential working tools and equipment
- Automation Integration: Work with specialized vendors for the installation of automation systems and conveyors.
3. Project Leadership & Reporting
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor surveyors and drafters assisting with site-level activities.
- Meeting Excellence: Take charge of expansion meetings, ensuring proactive follow-ups and high-quality progress presentations.
- Strategic Visibility: Apply strong logic to summarize project progress and provide clear visibilities on hub/sortation opening timelines.
