YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Corporate Effectiveness team, you will act as a Business Analyst in a context focused on data valorization, business intelligence evolution, and artificial intelligence deployment.
You will contribute to structuring and advancing practices related to the use of data, metrics, and business intelligence at GIRO. You will support teams in defining their needs while contributing to corporate data governance, the improvement of BI practices, and the evolution of our data ecosystem.
Business Analysis and Stakeholder Support
- Understand, analyze, and clarify business needs related to data, performance indicators, and business intelligence.
- Conduct process analyses, process mapping exercises, and identify improvement opportunities to optimize data utilization.
- Assess available data, identify gaps, and translate business needs into requirements for the development of analytical and business intelligence solutions.
Data Governance and Business Intelligence
- Participate in the implementation and evolution of data governance practices.
- Assess current practices and recommend the mechanisms, standards, and tools required to operationalize data governance.
- Define, document, and promote best practices related to the use and governance of business intelligence solutions.
- Support the definition and evolution of organizational performance indicators.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to the management, accessibility, and use of the corporate dashboard portfolio.
Transformation and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with various teams to anticipate the impact of transformation initiatives on data, metrics, and organizational performance.
- Influence and support stakeholders in adopting new data and business intelligence practices.
- Contribute to the evolution of BI practices and to strategic thinking around the use of data and artificial intelligence at GIRO.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 8 to 15 years of experience, primarily in business analysis and/or business intelligence.
- Significant experience in data, business intelligence, analytics, or data governance initiatives.
- Experience gathering requirements, managing internal stakeholders, and delivering strategic recommendations.
- Strong understanding of concepts related to data platforms, data lakes, and modern BI environments.
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with digital transformation projects or enterprise solution implementations.
- CBAP certification is an asset.
- Excellent ability to clarify mandates in collaboration with initiative sponsors, analyze complex problems, and align stakeholders around concrete solutions.
- Strong influencing leadership, autonomy, proactivity, and a highly collaborative approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English (in order to interact with English-speaking internal and/or external clients).
