About this role

Service Technician
Up to 50% travel (mostly regional/national)

- PLC experience (Allen Bradley preferred)

- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.

- Service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance

- Direct and coordinate customer requests for service of equipment.

- Confer with supervisors and engineering personnel to resolve design and/or operational problems with equipment.

- Assess and resolve customer complaints relating to service.

- Assist with the commissioning activities as needed .

- Assist with on-floor testing of equipment where needed.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of service-related documents. Create new documents as needed or requested.

- Analyze equipment problems and prepare technical reports for use by engineering and management.

- Respond to and resolve requests for technical support from customers and other departments.

- Directs the layout of equipment being installed.

- Directs the connecting of electrical wiring and cables as required.

- Directs the sequence and installation of mechanical equipment.

- Completes any Quality System records/activities requirements.

- BS or AS degree a plus not a must
