Cloud Systems Engineer 3

Position Overview

The Cloud Systems Engineer 3 supports the stability, scalability, and reliable operation of cloud-based networks and software systems, including system integration, performance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Drives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operations.

- Performs system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

- Creates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMs.

- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.

- Utilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes.

- Responsible for systems functionality, performance, and configuration issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

- Associate's degree (AS/AA) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.

- High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Certifications

- IAT-2 certification required.

- One or more cloud certifications required.

Clearance

- Active Secret clearance required.
