SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Carpenter is responsible for assisting in the custom building of fabricated Cubes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Install and repair items ranging from cabinets, insulation, kitchen/bathroom tile and drywall.
- Conduct building inspections to identify repairs as needed.
- Cut, shape and alter material.
- Build and assemble doors and windows.
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Strong assembly skills working with cabinets.
- Tile installation/repair skill set.
- Drywall and insulation skills.
- Ability to safely use a table saw and basic shop tools.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- For Full-Time employees, expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends if necessary.
- Reliably commute to Henderson, Nevada, or planning to relocate to local area before starting work.
