Pay Rate is $18.91/hr.
M-F 8am to 5pm
### About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in our manufacturing process by cutting materials to exact specifications, performing secondary machining operations, and ensuring high-quality output for custom orders.
Key Responsibilities
Saw Operation: Operate semi-automatic saws to cut aluminum profiles into precise, smaller sections based on custom order requirements.
Machining & Secondary Operations: Perform drilling, tapping, boring, countersinking, and related machining tasks.
Documentation & Blueprint Reading: Accurately read cut sheets, product specifications, quantities, and lengths in millimeters. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints using the metric system. Maintain clean and accurate records on both paper and digital systems.
Workplace Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and tidy.
General Support: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
2 years of related experience in metalwork and assembly preferred.
Prior experience with modular building kit systems using aluminum profiles (or tube & joint systems) is a strong plus.
Skills:
Proficiency or familiarity with the metric system preferred.
Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
