Shipping and Receiving Specialist 1st Shift Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a large logistics facility in search of an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist. Under general supervision, the Shipping and Receiving Specialist receives, stores, and distributes materials and products within the warehouse. Uses computers and multiple WMS systems (JDA/Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP).  The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is a full-time, temporary to hire position in Rogers, MN.

Shipping and Receiving Specialist Essential Function:
Carrying out organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies are required functions. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Receive INV via paperwork on the desktop computer using multiple different systems.

Does not use the forklift.

Provide information and courteous service to customers, visitors, and co-workers via Outlook email, Teams meetings, and phone calls.

Maintain 5S workspace organization methodology.

Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain user interface, correcting errors that occur during receiving, picking, and shipping materials throughout the day. Document errors created in various reports.

Communicate with various customer/personnel to correct inbound issues.

Utilize various web-based sites to complete transactions. Generate list of items/locations to cycle count.

Enter and update all findings from cycle count results.

Investigate all discrepancies determining root cause.

Communicate with the customer to correct inventory discrepancies.

Correct systematic errors created in the warehouse management system.

Monitor and document efficiency of warehouse personnel through various reports.

Generate/update reports to track warehouse progress throughout the year. Document all outbound shipments, recording errors that occurred during the shipment process. Only documents INV discrepancies.

Investigate and document discrepancies reported by customer.

Audit randomly selected locations from receivers' put-away sheets.

Systematically verify successful transfer as well as physically locate items in warehouse, verifying correct placement. Correct any discrepancies physically or systematically.

Investigate and resolve items not found in location that will affect production.

Locate items in warehouse verifying correct placement.

Correct any discrepancies physically or systematically.

Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

1+ Years of relevant experience
Strong desktop computer skills Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel Strong communication skills
