About this role
Job Purpose
To be responsible for the Preventive Maintenance (PM) / Corrective Maintenance (CM) of the Fare System equipment including Access Management (AMS) / Access Control Management (ACMS) / Staff clocking (Ecas) System in SMRT stations and SMRT depots, as well as to ensure KPI is fulfilled.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform PM on Fare System equipment.
- Attend to CM on Fare System equipment.
- Ensure compliance with work procedures and risk assessment when carrying out any project work.
- Assist Assistant Engineer (AE) in any other maintenance work related to the Fare System equipment or the home office operations.
- Carry out necessary data entries as required in the Maintenance Management System.
- Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
- Actively participate in Kaizen Project to enhance and streamline maintenance processes and equipment performance.
- Support project initiative, testing and commissioning for new stations.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Past working experience in electronic servicing industries.
Skills
- Able to work night shifts when required
- Exposure to site-work
- Candidate should possess technical knowledge and troubleshooting skill
- Proficient with safety practices
- Understand basic electrical safety procedure
- Able to use Microsoft Words and Excel for data entry and report compilation
